CARD is implementing an emergency education project, the project is aimed to provide access to quality education to children affected by the conflict. CARD is establishing temporary learning spaces for 1000 displaced children in Hai Masna as well as provision of emergency teaching and learning materials to 1000 Primary school children.
Further implementing partner is building teachers and PTAs with capacity building on teaching skills in order to retain children in school. The training aims to equip teachers and PTAs to support learners’ psycho social needs and provide lifesaving information. PTA training aims to inform and reinforce their roles in school management and mobilization of children to go to schools. While at same time paying teachers incentives, this project is funded by UNICEF for the period of three months.
