Dear Country Director Kari Oyen and Emergency Manager Raphael,

I would like to formally and sincerely express my gratitude for the amazing work you have done to CARD and for your generosity. We at CARD are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like NCA (Kari and Raphael) who answer the call to give again and again. With your faithful financial contributions over the years, you’ve demonstrated your deep commitment to support CARD in every way.

With this tremendous support I sincerely write this letter to express our deepest thanks for your year’s financial supports and the recent installation of internet.

The internet and power supplying you have provided to CARD has brought us closer to our goal and mission. We were disconnected from the world today we are connected to the world, you’re a big deal for us. We wouldn’t have done it without your generosity. Hence I want to let you know that I valued the amount of efforts and resources you have put into CARD and your financial support to CARD over the years, this indicated that your leadership have deep commitment to work with our organisation CARD. Let me very frank to you; getting donor like NCA at this difficult time whose consistently donate funding to particular partner is rarely and I think NCA is one of the few donors who does that.

Furthermore, your financial support you gave to CARD thousands of vulnerable communities had benefitted from emergency WASH, GBV and NFIs responses.  I can happily report that these communities their living standard have significantly improved and are more than happy than ever before. In as much as you were not present physically, know that you (NCA) have touched our community’s hearts with hope, rejuvenation and sense of belonging. These communities were one day think they are unwanted communities but with your compassion and affirmation to people who were too often devalued and debased has brought them hopes andfeelings sense of humanity.

Women and girls who had never wear sanitary pads ever since they were born they now have their own sanitary pads, in the same way to water in sacristy, women and girls who struggled to fetch dirty water are now have access to safe and   quality drinking water because of your generosity gift.  The Jur River community who used to be sick because of drinking  dirty water, today will not be sick again while those who sleep in open space they now sleep in under comfortable shelters, comfortable mat, under mosquito nets  because of your generosity support.

Kari and Raphael, let me be honestly to you, your financial support to CARD had directly impacted and brought tremendous changes to our organisation to today in Western Bahr el Ghazal state CARD became known as lead WASH Partner in Jur River County because of your financial support, this recognition was made possible through your financial support you rendered to CARD.

I genuinely appreciate the donation you made to CARD, It’s an honor to write to such a generous person. Thank you for being a part of the organisation, thank you for your usually cooperation and support.
